Mit raschem Pinselduktus und kühler Farbpalette zitiert Weber das wohl prominenteste und sich bis heute jedweder Enträtselung entziehenden Werk der Kunstgeschichte. Anders als Leonardos Original stellt Weber Mona Lisas Antlitz seitenverkehrt und geradezu von aller interpretativen Staffage befreit dar. With a swift brushstroke and cool colour palette, Weber cites what is probably the most prominent work in art history and one that has eluded any attempts to unravel it to this day. Unlike Leonardo's original, Weber depicts Mona Lisa's face upside down and virtually free of all interpretative staffage.
