True, they know no borders, and they possess the ability to soar away at will (well, most of them anyway). Yet, they remain perilously low on the food chain, ever vulnerable to meeting their demise at the jaws of a larger predator. Through this collection, I pose fundamental questions about the nature of freedom and power. What does it mean to be free? How do we define power in a world where disparities persist? As we move into a future of digitisation, decentralised finance and Artificial intelligence, will the death of fiat currency enhance our freedoms or widen the existing chasm between rich and poor?"
