Theodore Graveline (1928-2012) Oil on canvas, signed lower right and titled "Coming Home' on left, piece measures 12 x 16 and 16 x 20 inches w/ frame. Born in Palmer, Massachuetts in 1928 and after retiring, Ted studied oil painting under several teachers and became a well-known artist in the area. He had painted over 2,000 canvases, many of which he donated towards charity benefits, particularly St. Jude's Children's Hospital. He was on the board of directors of Deerfield Valley Art Association, an active member of the Friends of Gill, The Gill Church, and was an active community volunteer. He also wrote seven best-selling books, with an eight in the printing process at the time of his passing.
