Attributed to Giacomo Recco, Italian (1603-1653). This large old master is attributed to the one done by Recco in 1651. 'Still Life of Flowers' is an oil on canvas mounted in a carved gilt wood frame. Provenance: Estate of Carl Dennis Battaglia, Sotheby's New York: Thursday, January 27, 2005, Lot 00164. Measures 56.5"H x 79.5"W framed; 46"H x 68.5"W visual. Condition: craquelure, small paint chips around the outer edges of the painting and also on the frame, please see all photos.
