Late 19th C. Oil on canvas. Depicts ship ELPENOR. Steam and sail cruiser in rough seas. Mounted on old mahogany board. 12" high x 17" wide. Provenance: From the estate of Alan Gaines of A & A Gaines Antiques, Newport, Rhode Island. Shows minor paint loss on top. Some loss to trimmed edges of the canvas.
