Expressionismus Willy Robert Huth war ein expressionistischer Landschaftsmaler der sogenannten "Verschollenen Generation". Er studierte an den Kunstgewerbeschulen in Erfurt und Düsseldorf und ließ sich 1918 in Berlin nieder, wo er Kontakte zu zu Künstlern wie Schmidt-Rottluff, Heckel, Grosz und Pechstein knüpfte und an Ausstellungen der Freien Sezession teilnahm. In dieser Zeit begann er mit der Arbeit auf Hiddensee, wo er auch seinen Lebensabend verbrachte. Unser Bild zeigt eine zeitlose, in reizvollen Farben komponierte Wattlandschaft. Signed and dated.
