Helen Savier DuMond (American 1872-1968) Mountain Lake Landscape Oil on canvas. The composition depicts a sweeping mountain landscape with a placid lake in the middle distance, flanked by grassy foreground and rugged cliffs rising beyond. Soft atmospheric effects and a restrained palette convey depth and scale.
