Helen Savier DuMond (American 1872-1968) Mountain Lake Landscape with Path, 1933 Oil on canvas A tranquil mountain lake bordered by rocky shoreline and rolling hills, painted with a restrained palette and subtle atmospheric modulation. Executed in a plein-air manner. DuMond was associated with the Lyme Art Colony and American Impressionism, and was married to fellow artist Frank Vincent DuMond.
