Brady Portrait of a dandy Watercolor and gouache on vellum or paper 19th century 2 3/4 x 3 1/2 in., framed to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 in.  In a sixth plate brass mat and frame    This painting of a dandy is almost certainly painted after a photograph, suggested by both the pose and the presentation in a cased image mat and frame. To the right of the portrait, near the man's left arm, is the signature "Brady."
