Buddha Shakyamuni Tibet 18th/19th C. Wood, carved and gilt. Buddha sitting in padmasana on a double lotus throne with bowed eyes, hands in bhumisparsha mudra. H 69,5, W 39 cm. Provenance: private collection Markgräflerland. Condition report: Good condition. Gilding rubbed with the primer becoming visible, isolated small chips at the lotus relief, wood on the base restored as well as small missing parts. DEUTSCH: Buddha Shakyamuni Tibet 18./19. Jh. Holz, geschnitzt und vergoldet. Auf doppeltem Lotosthron sitzt der Buddha mit gesenkten Augen im padmasana, die Hände in bhumisparsha mudra. H. 69,5, B. 39 cm.
