Photographer: Franz Seraph Hanfstaengl (1804 - 1877). Portrait of Richard Wagner. Circa 1870. Large-format albumen print. 53 x 40,2 cm. Mounted to original board (traces of previous mounting on the verso), photographer's name and Gallerie der Zeitgenossen printed below the image on the mount, as well as printed paper label with sitter's name.
