Russell Lee, Black flood refugees, 1936. 8 x 10 - inch gelatin silver print with Lee's "Resettlement Administration" stamp and pencil inscription on the verso: It reads "Colored flood refugees housed in the Baptist Church at Sikeston Missouri." Number "Ra 10466-D" also written in pencil on the verso. This is a very rare vintage print of a grim subject. Provenance: From the Doris Lee estate to present owner.
