Note: Each bust length portrait is a Ferrotype on tin and the subjects cover all ages, genders, and for the most part, appear to be middle to upper middle classes. Obviously this was an important opportunity for them to look their best so their hair is properly combed and many of the women have it arranged in a style popular for that era. Virtually all of the portraits have blush pink tinted facial features and are amazingly clear and sharp for this type of photo portraiture. Their clothes are "Sunday Best" with a majority of the men wearing coats with collared shirts and ties, while the women are in assorted dress styles that were fashionable but conservative and many are sporting a stylish hat. For those interested in family ancestor research, the following are names found inscribed above or below some portraits; Barnard, Burbank, Currie, Dodges, Smith, Gage, Peach, Pearson, Fitts, Jackman, Rice, Trussell, Goodwin, Corser, Moulton, Lovejoy, and Marrill.     Â
