Title: Untitled #950437. From Booth's "Corpus Beyond the Body" series. Born in Hull, England, Alvin Booth is now a New York based artist. His work focuses on the intrinsic beauty of the human form as well as the mutations of that beauty. Booth's first book, Corpus (with a forward written by Charlotte Cotton of the Victoria and Albert Museum) was published in 1999 and was awarded the Kodak Photo Book Press Award. This is a Salt print; toned and distressed. Hand-wrought metal frame with two oval hooks fixed to top. Glass glaze on front and back.
