"The Sweet Potato Field", circa 1898. Gelatin silver print depicting two Black women working in a sweet potato field. Not examined out of peroid oak frame; appears in good contion with a few toning / age spots. Some "silvering" to image when viewed at an angle. 7.25" x 9.5" approx. Frame 10.75" x 13". Eickemeyer (1862-1932) was an American pictorialist photographer, a member of the New York Camera Club, and along with Alfred Stieglitz, one of the first two Americans admitted to "The Brotherhood of the Linked Ring," an English group devoted to photography as a fine art. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Eickemeyer_Jr.
