(ENTERTAINMENT.) Pair of photographs of Cincinnati's Top Hat Social Club. [Cincinnati, OH, 22 March 1937] Two photographs, 8 x 10 inches and 5¾ x 9 inches; worn with stains and repairs, one captioned in pencil "1936, Cotton Club."  The larger photograph was published in the 27 March 1937 issue of the Pittsburgh Courier, attributing the image to the Colorgram agency. Their caption set the scene: "Amidst the glamorous beauty of the Cotton Club, combined with the Rhythm of Al Sears' orchestra, the Top Hat Social Club was host to Cincinnati's society last Tuesday evening, reviving the apparel fad of top hat and tails."
