(EDUCATION.) Photograph album of an event at Tuskegee Institute. Tuskegee, AL, 1921 45 unmounted photographs, 5½ x 9½ inches, bound with string, with worn detached wrappers reading "Tuskegee, Alabama 1921" in manuscript; photographs with minor wear, slightly bowed, a few chipped at upper corner. These photographs were taken during a visit to Tuskegee by a group of unidentified white dignitaries. They may have been led by Charles Erdman, dean of the Princeton Theological Seminary, who visited with other officials on 22 November 1921. Their identity is less important than the Tuskegee campus scenes, including a sequence in front of Tompkins Hall, two of gathered students, and one of a ragtag student band.  President Robert Russa Moton is seen in several images.
