Artist: ALFRED CROCKER LEIGHTON (1901-1965) Size: 24 1/8 x 38 3/4 in./61.3 x 98.4 cm This poster seems almost alive with movement: a vibrating, perpetually kinetic and onrushing locomotive through the Canadian Rockies. Leighton, a U.K. native, emigrated to Canada in 1925 and spent the rest of his life ensconced and enthralled by the Canadian Rockies.
