FOR A PERFECT HOLIDAY IN NORTH ITALY Travel Poster (25" x 39") ; Very Fine- Rolled; Artwork by Franz Lenhart c.1940 This ENIT travel poster highlights four famous cities to attract tourists to Italy. It is rolled and features two vertical tears at the bottom border, which have been stabilized with a piece of cellophane tape on the back. Additionally, there is a crease in the lower corner, small edge tears, minor stains, and a small hole in the upper border and background area. Printed in Italy by ENIT, The Italian National Tourist Board. ENIT was founded in 1919 with the mission of promoting Italy as a travel destination. The ENIT Italian travel posters were printed in collaboration with the Ferrovie dello Stato (the Italian railway system). This lot will be auctioned on Friday, March 6th.
