PROVENANCE: From the entire set of "Les Liliacees" acquired from the artist by Empress Josephine, Redoute's patron and benefactor. The entire set acquired by Graham Arader at Sotheby's, November 1985, then divided and sold to investors, where purchased by the current vendor. Property of a Main Line lady.
