6 EARLY 20TH CENTURY ENGLISH BOTANICAL ENGRAVINGS, AFTER PANCRACE BESSA, French, (1772-1846). Collection of six loose (unframed/unmatted) handcolored stipple engravings depicting peaches, grapes, pears, cherries and plums. Originally published in 1808, Paris as "Fleurs et Fruits gravs et coloris sur les peintures aquarelles faites d'aprs nature", illustrated by Pancrace Bessa. These engravings are from a later edition, published in England, 1900 by Victor Delarue, London; Editor Danlos Aine. Sheets are watermarked. - 21 3/8" high x 15 3/4" wide.
