Alphaeus Philemon Cole (American, 1876-1988), four etchings mostly depicting architecture: two depicting white clapboarded meetinghouse, c. 1925, stone signed one with stain LL; one depicting figure walking down isolated street, minor wrinkling, c. 1930, plate size: 3" h. x 2 3/8" w.; and last depicting equestrian figure with lance, c. 1944, Clayton-Liberatore Art Gallery (Bridgehampton, NY) label attached verso, three of four pencil signed with the fourth signed in stone, two of four with pen inscribed backing verso, all matted and framed behind glass, none examined out of matching black finished frames.
