139302 - American artist John Grillo (1917 - 2014) was a noted abstract expressionist who studied with artists such as Alexander Calder and Eugene Berman. His works tend to have plenty of color in sharp contrasts. This is an 'Abstract Study' by John Grillo. A Rare, Limited Edition (#123/300) from 1980, hand-signed by the artist in pencil lower right. Hand-numbered in pencil lower left and measures 26" x 34 1/2". A great representation of his work.
