'La Paloma De La Guerra (War Bird)' by Danny Ayala 12 x 14.5 Inches Screen print in colors on fine art paper. Limited Edition of only 15 (#2/15) Signed and numbered by the artist. ARTIST BIO Danny Ayala is visual artist, born in Mexico City whose inspiration is mainly Humans and Nature. It's the main source of energy in hi art. It comes in many forms, from the vegetables, cannabis and flowers in his garden, to the people that work and sleep in the streets of the city. His work is a humble attempt to mix wisdom and truth - both light and dark, natural human expression, then translate it onto canvas. The materials he uses are as diverse as the stories that he draws from. His art is mostly an experimentation and consists of reclaimed materials such as construction paint, wood or metal, reused canvas, and other new materials. Often times he uses objects that have seemingly nothing to do with the work itself, but they have a history, making a different puzzle for each viewer. It is through his own shared experiences that allows him to paint different styles of art. The form his art takes can range from painting on a simple coin to painting murals in the Mission District in SF. His form of expression draws from realms of art, from surrealism to abstract, which has helped to form what he considers his own style: "Painting as a Child".
