Chiaroscuro woodcut printed in dark brown, dark tan and black on cream laid paper, 1585. 305x288 mm; 12 1/4x11 1/2 inches. Ex-collection the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco (Lugt 3a, verso); and Rockford College Art Museum, Rockford, Illinois. Trimmed inside the border line with the main four figures preserved. A very good impression of this extremely scarce woodcut with strong colors. Bartsch 9.
