Cartouche with five pendants, below a royal hunting party. "La Chasse Royale " Engraving made by Balthasar Moncornet (1600-1668) ca 1665 in Paris, after François Lefebvre. From a very rare series of 12 engravings of jewelry designs: "Livre Nouveau de toutes sortes d'ouurages d'Orfeuries receuillies des Maylleurs ouuriers de ce temps". References : Orn Cat II 1756. These engravings were made as designing jewelry for goldsmiths and enamellers. The edition with the numbers engraved. Good dark impression on thin laid paper with large margins. Some traces of aging not disturbing.
