Ruins of the Bailleval priory, "Ruins du Prieuré de Bailleval". Engraving in red ink by Adèle Le Roi after a drawing/painting of Le Soeur. She was a female engraver known for her engravings after le Soeur and has worked for Publisher Basset in Paris. Thes engravings are very rare. Only a few examples known. Here in an excellent condition printed on laid paper, on the margins image is complete. Good dark impression in red ink with lot of details. In the "Methode de crayon". Looks like a drawing, sanguine. With a good watermark.
