Thomas Hart Benton (American, 1889-1975) Haystack, 1938 Lithograph on GCM paper 13" x 10 ½" (image) Edition of 250   Pencil-signed to the bottom right corner. Circulated by Associated American Artists, New York City. The sheet measures 12" x 16" and the glazed frame measures 18 ¼" x 22 ¼".   Of Haystack, Benton wrote: "Date of drawing 1928. Building a hay stack on a North Carolina hill farm. There is a painting of this subject, owner unknown to me."
