PABLO PICASSO - La casserole emailee, 1945. Provenance: from the heirs of a private collector in South America who acquired the work from galleries in Spain during the second half of the 20th Century. This piece have remained stored in an attic for many years, probably more than 45 years. Please consider that it is very difficult for us to estimate its value because it has been very challenging to find auction prices, for pieces with similar characteristics, from the past. Perhaps they remain in private collections. Paper and Quality Analysis: Guarro paper is a high-quality, Spanish-manufactured, often cotton-blend, paper brand widely used for professional watercolor (60% cotton, 350gsm) and drawing. The Guarro Casas story began way back in 1698, when this paper-manufacturing company was founded in La Torre de Claramunt (Barcelona). This quality halftone lithograph was hand enhanced with gouash and signed on the lower right. Dimensions: The paper dimensions are Approx. 19.5" x 12". We have included quality images to show it's actual condition. This artwork is presenting some foxing that could be removed with a professional conservation.
