Early Les Baer Custom 1911 Ultimate Tactical Carry Semi-Automatic Pistol Manufactured c. 1991-2008 in Hillsdale, Illinois, before the company moved to Le Claire, Iowa. Features Tritium insert blade front and Novak pattern notch rear sights, blued barrel marked "BAER 45 MATCH" on the polished chamber hood, slated serrations at the front and rear of the slide with the caliber marking on the left side along with "T.N.P.E.T.W." and Baer Custom mark on the right side, the two-line Hillsdale address on the right of the frame above the "EMR" prefix two-digit serial number "00026", along with a checkered front strap, serrated long adjustable trigger, checkered slide catch, elongated thumb safety, skeletonized hammer, extended beavertail grip safety, and a flat checkered mainspring housing. Fitted with a pair of double diamond pattern checkered grips with panel scenes of an elk in front of mountains on both sides. Includes a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this pistol by serial number as being the former property of her father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.
