SERIAL NUMBER: C22730.BARREL: 5” . CALIBER: 45 ACP. MANUFACTURED: 1915. This early commercial 1911 remains in wonderfully well preserved condition and comes in the original one piece box. A very difficult to acquire and highly sought after pre war 1911 that will have a special place in any collection. CONDITION: The gun retains an impressive amount of the original blue finish with only some very minor thinning to the front edges of the slide and frame, some small handling marks on the front strap and a backstrap that thinning and lightly freckled. Note there is a collection stamp on the left side of the frame. The bore is near mint and the mechanical working order appears to be flawless.C&R
