dating: late 17th Century provenance: Brescia, Long smoothbore, two-stage, barrels, first octagonal then round, featuring a bas-relief mask and remains of engravings. Ribs extending along the entire length, interrupted only for a short segment; visible remains of signature and engravings along the entire surface; 13 mm calibre at the nozzle. Engraved tangs. Modern locks signed ‘FIORENTIN IN B.’ with a plate decorated with floral motifs in bas-relief on the tang and a hammer screw featuring a mask in relief. Wooden full stocks (small damaged and missing parts), slightly carved. Iron mounts decorated with masks and floral motifs in relief; openwork counterplates. The shields on the back are missing. Iron-tipped, wooden ramrods. length 46.5 cm.
