SN. S115714. Cal. 12ga. Built with 32" ventilated rib brl that has small white front bead. Left side of brl engraved "L.C. SMITH EAGLE TRAP". Breech end with small scroll wedges. Walnut forend with Schnabel tip is point pattern checkered and has lightly engraved banjo shaped roll type release and iron. Casehardened receiver is very nicely engraved in early Eagle grade pattern with relief duck on right, flying pheasant on left, and eagle on top lever. Bottom of frame with shaded scroll. Blued long tang trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at center of tang. Straight grip walnut buttstock has checkered sidepanels, is checkered in point and flowing wave border pattern through the wrist, and terminates with a period of use Pachmayr brand white lined waffle pad. WEIGHT: 8lbs. 3oz.
