Splinter forend checkered in point pattern with triangular ebony tip and lightly scroll engraved banjo shaped roll type release and iron. Casehardened sidelock receiver engraved in standard 3E pattern with quail in game scene on locks surrounded by scroll, maker's name at front of locks, and burst of scroll around trigger plate screw. Blued long tang trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at center of tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Very nicely fiddleback figured straight grip walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has brass shield on toeline engraved "RN", and terminates with a black Pachmayr brand white lined pad.
