SN. FWE123446. Cal. .410 Bore. Built with 28" brls that have slightly raised matted top rib with small brass front bead. Top of brls engraved "L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE" on right and usual makers stamps on left. Breech end of brls with small scroll wedges. Brl flats with SN and "SE". Splinter forend is checkered in point pattern with triangular ebony tip, has banjo shaped engraved roll type release, and casehardened iron. Casehardened sidelock receiver engraved in standard Specialty grade pattern with quail on left, ducks on right surrounded by open scroll and maker name at front of locks. Top of frame and top lever are engraved in standard Specialty pattern. Blued long tang trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at center of tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. Nicely figured straight grip walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with its original lined HRBP. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 3oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-1/2".
