Splinter forend checkered in point pattern with triangular ebony tip and banjo shaped roll type release and iron. Casehardened sidelock receiver is beautifully engraved with quail on left, ducks on right in game scene, "L.C. SMITH" at front of locks all surrounded by open vine scroll. Bottom of frame and trigger plate with light scroll engraving. Trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at rear of tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety.
