SN. 12635. Cal. 8ga. This rare gun made with 33-3/4" Damascus brls have flat matted game rib. Bottom of left brl is marked C 12635. Early compensating action with pivot opening top lever with sliding bolt, features automatic safety, bushed strikers, pin type cocking indicators, and double triggers. Action has only borderline engraving, and lockplates are marked LEFEVER ARMS CO. Trigger plate has a last patent date of 87. SN is on tang of trigger guard which extends to fluted hard rubber grip cap. Dense, lightly stump figured European walnut capped pistol grip terminates with a checkered composition buttplate.
