SN. 39328. Cal. 12ga. Built with 30" Krupp fluid steel brls that have matted top rib with white mid and brass front bead. Tops of brls engraved "KRUPP" on right and "FLUID STEEL" on left. Breech ends of brls with carved butterfly wings. Bottoms of tubes with original Krupp stamps. Splinter forend checkered in point pattern with factory original gold washed and engraved tip, and escutcheon. Iron with its original case color. Casehardened sideplated boxlock receiver is beautifully engraved with Setter on left, Pointer on right in details oval game scenes surrounded by light flourishes of scroll. Maker's name at front of locks. Brl fences are lightly relief carved. Bottom of frame with scroll wedge ahead of trigger plate and frame is relief carved with bottom rails. Casehardened trigger guard with duck in marsh scene on bow, SN at rear of tang. Watertable stamped with SN, and grade stamp "D". Gun made with gold plated double triggers, in-frame auto ejectors, cocking indicators, and auto safety. Nicely fiddleback figured round knob pistol grip walnut buttstock with carved teardrops behind locks, is checkered in point & wave pattern through the wrist, and terminates with its original L.A.
