SN. 46026. Cal. 12ga. Built with 32" Krupp fluid steel brls that have matted concave top rib with white front bead. Tops of brls engraved "LEFEVER ARMS CO." on right and "KRUPP FLUID STEEL" on left. Breech ends of brls with 1" scroll wedges and engraved sculpted butterfly wings. Splinter forend is near full coverage point pattern checkered with engraved steel tip, escutcheon, and iron. Fabulously engraved sideplated receiver with Setters in mountain scene on left, Pointers in field scene on right, both in oval surrounded by fine scroll. Lock plates are stepped at rear portion and maker's name towards middle of lock with woodcock in circle on right and quail in circle at front of lock. Brl fences are relief carved with clover leaves and top of frame, top lever, and top tang are also nicely engraved. Bottom of frame with carved wings which are floral & scroll engraved and a large grouse at center of frame. Trigger guard with two Setters in marsh scene on bow surrounded by scroll, SN at rear of tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip walnut buttstock with carved teardrops behind locks is checkered in point & wave border pattern through the wrist, has gold shield on toeline, and terminates with a period replacement lined HRBP.
