Owed to their geometrical shapes and the stable yet soft material, which is also used in the production of car dashboards, they can be used as tables or seating elements. Mario Bellini (b. 1935) Born in Milan, the architect and designer Mario Bellini studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnikum. He gained international notoriety due to his construction and renovation projects. As a designer, he became known with objects designed for Lamy, Brionvega, Olivetti and Yamaha.
