Circa 1820 Boston. Bonnet with swan broken arch crest, three urn form finials, turned column supports. Blind door trunk, all on four feet. Painted metal dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary date and moonphase dials. Time and bell strike movement, backplate of dial bears "Manufactured by Samuel Curtis Boston" label. Overall 99" high including finials x 19" x 10.5". Condition: Wear and flaking to dial, minor scratches and dings to case.
