He immigrated to Palestine and settled in Haifa after the Nazi rise to power. He returned to East Germany upon the establishment of the State of Israel.Herman Struck (1876-1944) was a senior 'Bezalel' artist. He was a religious Jew, and one of the founders of Jewish graphic art in Palestine.
