This listing is for a lovely 19th Century antique French gilt metal bolted Urn with beautiful hand painted porcelain center decoration. Measures 8 1/2" high with a maximum width of 3 1/2" and the base is 2 3/8". This fabulous urn has an intricate champleve enameled decoration on lid, neck and base. Beautiful hand painted portrait on porcelain with mottled pastel landscape background. The porcelain fits nicely on a gilt metal frame with embosssed decorated handles. The handle on the right is slightly bent inward toward porcelain body (see photos). No other noted flaws.
