A LOUIS XV STYLE PETIT AND NEEDLEPOINT COVERED BEECH BERGÃRE MARQUIS EN GONDOLE, FRENCH, 18TH/19TH CENTURY, the serpentine, arched, molded crest rail, centering flower blooms, flanked by scrolls, over a bowed back, upholstered with a petite point medallion of two courting lovers in 18th century costume in an Aubusson style landscape, encircled by scrolling foliate needlepoint grounds, flanked by, enclosed, upholstered arm rests, ending in scrolled hand terminals, above a bowed seat of similar petite point and needlepoint construction, centering a chinoiserie aviary motif reserve, the whole raised on flower bloom carved knee cabriole legs issuing stem chutes, terminating in scrolled feet, ending in French toes, joined by a serpentine flower bloom carved skirt.
