Height 13-7/8" Width: 12-3/4" Weight: 2655g This screen is double-sided. One side is a design carved into lapis lazuli and the reverse a scene of gold and black on lapis. The lapis side features a pair of mandarin ducks floating on breaking waves and a lotus plant over The reverse shows a mountain panorama with a pair of mandarin ducks flying above a palace. Its foreground reveals willow and cherry trees as well as 2 islands. A figure is crossing a bridge to one of the islands. Lower down the mountain side a walled compound which displays large areas of water and many cherry trees. A fitted hardwood stand is included. Qing Dynasty
