SIGNED XI TANG (CHINESE) BOOK OF TWELVE CHINESE LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS, LATE QING DYNASTY TO REPUBLIC PERIOD 清末民初 西塘款 山水圖十二幀 行書題跋兩幀 水墨設色紙本 冊頁跋：…歲在庚子秋日畫於長安客舍之雲窗下。闕里孔西塘墨跡鈐印：西、塘、知足ink and light colour on paper, with inscriptions, seals and signature, dated to Geng Zi year, a book of twelve album paintings bound together  31.5cm x 21cm each leaf Acquired by Sir James Stewart Lockhart (1858-1937) from a resident of Lincun, Wendeng District, Shandong Province, November 1912 for HK £12, (Sir James Stewart Lockhart, Notebook, dated 1910-1921, p. 365, NLS Acc. 12695/26c);  Gifted to his daughter, Mary Stewart Lockhart (1894-1985); Presented by the above to George Watson’s College, Edinburgh in 1967; Lent to the National Museums of Scotland, Edinburgh (2003-2025).Exihibition: Edinburgh, City Art Centre, An Ardent Collector, December 1982 / January 1983, catalogue no. 58.
