Needlework Sampler (American, 19th c.), linen/cotton, decorated with numbers, letters, and various plant life, signed across the middle bottom "Lousia Marie Salmon Aged 8 Years," probably the work of Louisa Salmon (b. 1857), a resident of New York State (where the sampler was found) in her youth, whose family later moved out to Afton, Minnesota, measures 18 x 17 inches framed. CONDITION: Good, toned, a few spots.
