Chinese Export Porcelain Blue and White Cut-Corner Salad Bowl, Qianlong, 1745-1780. Finely painted in underglaze-blue around the exterior sides with two matching views, each depicting a large pavilion with figure inside the doorway, another figure in the yard and grazing animals, all behind a fence along a waterway, and two figures conversing on an arched stone bridge, a pagoda and buildings on the opposite shore, the rim surrounded by a flowerhead trellis diaperwork border, the interior with a similar view, the rim surrounded by a Fitzhugh-type border.
