Chinese Export Porcelain Blue and White Charger, Qianlong, 1745-1780. Painted in underglaze-blue with a two butterflies hovering above peonies and bamboo in a fenced garden, each panel pierced with a ruyi-head, the rim with four sprays of peonies and lotus alternating with Buddha's hand fruit, pomegranates and cherries, the shaped rim surrounded by a flowerhead trellis diaperwork border.
