Chinese 'Kraak' Porcelain Blue and White Dish, Wanli, 1595-1610. Painted in underglaze-blue to the center with a scroll superimposed over two horsetail whisks and two ruyi-heads surrounded by tassels, within a border of scale and key-fret panels interrupted by ruyi-heads, the sides with panels of peach sprays, ruyi-heads and Artemesia leaves, auspicious symbols and flower stems alternating with narrow dotted panels, the exterior rim with circles enclosing ruyi-heads and jewels alternating with narrow lingzhi fungus panels.
